RESEARCH

CITY BACKGROUNDS

I like the silhouettes  style cities and this one I found works very nicely. I like that it's quite dark in the forground and the further back it get is the more lighter it get. This to me gives a sense of dept betweem each layer of the city. the windows also works very well as this give the city "life"

I like how this is leaning, very cartoon like and adds playfulness to the entire picture.

HOUSES

Some ideas for the house that the characters will be living in. I want the house to be quite big and nice to represent that they are wealthy and quite humble. They can afford most things thus nothing seems to be as precious to them as most things would be to others.

CREATED HOUSE

I just added some quick colours and will change them when I've decided on the look of the entire scene.

SPLINTERCELL CONVICTION
This game uses a new visual way of updating the player of his/her new mission. Instead of the objectives showing up on the players display, it is projected unto walls within the game as if its projected through a projector. And just as a projector if anyone walks past the area where it is projecting to, it will be projected on to the person. It's also used to show what the conversation is about or the character's memory. I find this very interesting and a great idea for showing things in real time instead of having to cut from what happens presently to have to go back and re-tell the story. This way, the main story continues while the memory is being shown.
